Hello, my readers! It’s been an exciting few months for me. This summer, I wanted to dedicate my time to really accomplish some things writing-wise. To my great joy, I’ve been able to fulfill that goal so far, and these last months have been incredibly productive! If you’ve followed my facebook and instagram updates, you’ll know I’ve been quite involved with promoting the release of the Ganbatte! anthology. Now that it has been successfully released, I’m so excited to introduce you to my next project, Fleeting Dreams; A Book of Poetry and Half-Tales!
Fleeting Dreams is a very different sort of work than any of my previous releases. I have always loved poetry, but in the last five years, I came to appreciate it on an all new level. When I was twenty years old, I got a sketch journal and a set of pens, and took to writing poems and drawing little pictures to go along with them. Over time, this book filled out and became a unique journal of my musings and imaginings. It isn’t strictly poetry either–there’s quite a few sections of prose and story-fragments mixed in. They reflected my state of mind (and heart) through some of the most difficult and amazing years of my life, particularly from 2019-2020. During 2020-2021, I compiled the best of these works (along with a few new ones) and began to illustrate them with the intent of creating a poetry collection.

To be honest, I was quite nervous about this book. It is incredibly personal. And, while I love poetry, I am by no means an expert in poetry. I had to look up exactly how poetry books were presented by those who knew better. After reassuring myself that this was, in fact, an acceptable way to do a poetry book, I went right ahead. It came together rather quickly; I’ve only been seriously working on this since last August. And now, I’m proud to announce that Fleeting Dreams will be released in September of this year!
So, if you or someone you know would enjoy a collection of honest and imaginative poetry, be on the lookout for this book. I’ll be releasing snippets and sneak peaks as we get closer to the release date–and of course, an official cover reveal. You can see a few of the illustrations on my art page right here at Glorious Stories.
Thank you for stopping by, and stay tuned for more updates on Fleeting Dreams and my other projects!
