For context as you make your decision, know that this is a work of Christian historical/speculative fiction. A it of a locked-room drama, it all takes place in a Bethlehem inn, circa 30 A.D. Think cozy Twilight Zone episode meets The Chosen meets It’s a Wonderful Life.

“It was the most business Achim had received in months—maybe even years.  Fearsome as the storm was, it had, in an odd way, been an answer to prayer.  The irony was not lost on Achim, and he found himself looking heavenward with a wry mixture of gratitude and rue.  I should word my prayers more carefully in the future, Lord.  Is that what You wish to tell me?”

Starting on Wednesday October 1st, Hosts of Heaven will be released in 14 chapters, to be published weekly for subscribers to this blog in the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve, 2025. Each chapter will feature illustrations done by yours truly to set the tone.
